Editors Note: In November, 2012, I taught a class at the Mighty Writers, a non-profit who’s mission is to “teach Philadelphia kids to think and write with clarity, so self-esteem grows and success is achieved at school, at work and in life.” I was curious how children would see and write about their experiences in Philadelphia. The second writer is Zamira, who chose to write about Hershey Park (not within Philadelphia, but a perfect choice nonetheless).

My Love Note:
Dear Hershey Park,
I adore and love how big you are. you have mostly 1 color, which is brown, because brown stands for chocolate. You are alwawys very crowded because everybody loves you. There are giant Hershey bars strolling around your property. Everybody is always smiling and having fun.
I really come to you because of the superb rides and the delicious food. I went on my very first rollercoaster at Hershey. It was a wonderful and thrilling experience. My favorite food that I can eat at Hershey is a Hershey Bar. I LOVE chocolate!!!
Full of smiles and chocolate,
Zamira Sigel-Kulick

in depth information you offer. It’s good to come
across a blog every once in a while that isn’t
the same unwanted rehashed information. Great read!
