The next #whyilovephilly ice cream flavor!

Introducing the next #whyilovephilly flavor ice cream from Little Baby’s!

Each year Martin and I make a new flavor for the #whyilovephilly party (tickets HERE). Last year it was Philly soft pretzel ice cream with a soft pretzel swirl, Butterscotch Krimpets and topped with Goldenberg’s Peanut Chews.

This year we’ve done a Philly-themed strawberry shortcake, and as always, there will be free samples at the party.

Poundcake (vanilla and chocolate) from Stock’s Bakery in Kensington
Strawberries from Greensgrow Farm
Mint from Little Baby’s garden
(oh yeah, and a dash of freeze dried strawberries for fun)

We’re still looking for a good name. Anyone got suggestions?

Side note: I have to give some credit to Joey Sweeney for thinking of Stock’s. It was a brilliant and delicious idea.

Sounds delicious! One quick correction: Stocks is in my neighborhood, Port Richmond. Sorry, we have to be territorial of such a Philadelphia treasure! Will this flavor be available outside of the party? I can’t make it Thursday. 🙁
