My Love Note

Dear Jeweler’s Row,

You knew me when I was a baby in my mother’s front pack, before I knew myself. I loved going to mom’s work, got to play with sparkly things and eating hot dogs was pretty much guaranteed before they kicked the cart off the corner of 8th and Chestnut. Fancy Fun and Food. Then I could work, 14, so I did. Over the years you have given me many jobs, many opportunities to learn a different facet of your trade. It was tedious work and I honestly didn’t think it would lead anywhere. I left you for a while, I had to tho, I had to look around and try new things. The Islands were nice, Africa-awesome, making different things along the way to get by. Then I came home, and I brought a little bit of everything with me! And here we are, making beautiful things together! I’m excited and grateful and I know I’m home.
